Introducing the Black Social Entrepreneurs Start Up (Scotland) Programme

The Black Social Entrepreneurs Start Up (Scotland) Programme is intended to support and remove barriers for Black social entrepreneurs. Dechomai’ Managing Director, Bayile Mbisa Adeoti, benefited from the Start Up programme and now, as an SSE alumni, would like to see more Black founders join.
Dechomai endorses PwC's support for Black entrepreneurs. This partnership is part of Dechomai’s long term plan to support Scotland’s National Strategy for Economic Transformation to stimulate entrepreneurship amongst Ethnic Minority communities across Scotland.
Bayile says, “I’m looking forward to being a part of the development and delivery team for this programme. Scotland is rich with Black entrepreneurs and this programme will shine a light on them.”
This programme feeds into Scotland’s Social Enterprise action plan, stimulating the sector, developing stronger organisations and realising market opportunities.
Participants will receive:
• Regular learning sessions
• Facilitated group work
• Virtual Action Learning sets
• 1:1 support from a PwC mentor
• PwC Masterclasses
• Access to a thriving network of Black social entrepreneurs in Scotland
